The buy-in is the money you need to join a poker game, which gives you your seat and a certain number of chips.

A rebuy in poker is buying more chips when you have lost your entire stack or have fallen to a short stack level. A rebuy will purchase the same number of chips that you received to start the tournament. You can rebuy as many times as you need or want to within the first 90 minutes.
